Why Use a Professional Pet Sitter?
If you are considering becoming a new client, you probably have some questions. If you are like most people whose work or travel will keep you away from your pets, you’ve likely considered various pet-care options, from asking for help from a family member or friend to securing the services of a professional pet sitter. For pet owners who want the best care for their pets and who want the peace of mind that comes from using an educated, responsible pet-care provider, professional pet sitters are a great choice!
Pets are often anxious when their owner’s are away. Put them in a boarding kennel and they are also in an unfamiliar place which adds to their stress levels. At a boarder there are several animals and feeding, medications, etc. is done on a schedule that allows the kennel to most efficiently serve all the animals. However, this is not necessarily your pet’s schedule which is also an added stressor.
However, when a pet stays at home one they are in their safe place. We feed, walk, play and give medications on their schedule. This is much less stressful for a pet. Caring for pets in the clients’ homes is what separates pet sitters from boarders or doggie daycares.
Why not just have a neighbor, friend or teenage relative come by? It may seem convenient but putting inexperienced folks in charge of your home and pet can lead to trouble. Neighbors can be unreliable—this isn’t their primary job, so they are less likely to take your pet’s care seriously—and family and friends will soon grow tired of you asking them to watch your furry friends when you go away. Plus, if your neighbor, family member, or friend has an emergency, no one will be available to feed, walk, and play with your pet.
Your pets are our top priority. If your primary sitter has an emergency, we already have a trained back-up in place to make sure that your four-legged family members are well cared for.
New Client Visit
One of the things we enjoy most is spending time with pets. Heck, that’s why we started this business. We love pets! But we want to make sure that we are a good fit for both you and your pets. We require an in home visit for all new clients at least 10 days before your scheduled departure. This allows us to get to know one another, to get to know your pet(s), and for all parties to determine if we are a good fit for one another. If you are ready to schedule our service please contact us or call us at (405) 633-3646 and we will arrange a visit to get to know both you and your pets.
New Client Forms
These forms are provided to help us get to know you, your pets, and your specific needs.
